I can't see a pug group getting much accomplished in coil, I can't imagine anyone willingly signing up for coil to carry people through either. I just don't see it. Good luck finding a group dude.
you can dual pally monk pally turns 1 and two you don't need a bard. but bard definitely makes it a bit easier
While my account was active I chose not to have a free company. I have gone through turns 1-4 several times with pick-up groups. It can be done and I think the original poster just needs to explore more options.
i play on the same server as this guy, its actually not that hard to find a coil group, pugs are forming all the time thru shouts and party finder. im sorry but this is just a false statement. there were 4 groups forming up about an hour ago, why didnt you join one of them?
and for what its worth, no, coil does not need to be on the duty finder
To be fair his story was believable up to last month since he plays a war tank and no one gives war tanks a chance. Now however he has no excuse.
Oh, a new "Coil in DF" thread! That's a relief.

By now the hardest part about doing Coil is having the "experience" to join PUGs. If we had the duty finder, no one, including new players, would have any problems.
Also... Caduceus can be killed in 90 minutes by a group of newbies, as long as the minimum item level is something like 70 (DL + Relic).
I think the hardest part of doing coil is twintania personally.
I used to be in the same boat even though I'm in an FC because of the silly lockout system, but with the Party Finder, it has gotten easier to find or found Coil groups now.
