    Instant disconnect upon login with specific character

    This has been happening to my main character since last night. I am able to login to the lobby without issue. My connection is labeled as "excellent". When I attempt to login with this character it goes through the loading process and then I am instantly disconnected with an error 90000. I have gotten the same error for over 12 hours.

    I thought it must be me, but after restarting everything I could updating everything I could think of, I decided to make a second character on the same realm. Unbelievably, that character is able to login again and again.

    Does anyone know a fix or solution that worked for them?

    I went through the Square Enix chat help, they suggested port forwarding and lowering the router firewall. Neither of these things has worked.

    I am still able to login into one character and not the other. This is extremely frustrating.

    It seems that there have not been any further posts about this concern being an ongoing issue. Because of this, we are considering it to be resolved.
