I can tell you right now they don't need that CPU-Z report (which is so long that it breaks the forum btw, you might want to remove it)

It's not "lag." the way it works is intended- just like Hallowed Ground, the effect takes place after the animation, which unfortunately makes it very possible to use the ability and die before it actually takes effect.

The same thing can even happen with cures.

That's absurd. Lag, delayed effect, whatever you call it there's no reason I should be charged a cooldown for a spell that does not do the desired effect at the time I use it. I've never encountered this with any other MMO and this should be changed if it is indeed "working as intended". I've never seen this happen with Cures (I only see this as a problem with Benediction, but I assume any instant cast spell works the same way) but I'll take your word for it.

every skill is based on hte animation not the cast time. every instant cast skill has almost a 1 second animation on it hense why you cant pop all the cooldowns at once. It was an aethstetic choice by the developers.

I realize that, but my question is why some of the skill (i.e. the combat log readout and cooldown) are processed before the actual application of healing to the target as per the screenshot. This is what led me to believe there was a bug or unintended lag in the way Benediction or other instant cast spells were processed. If this is merely an aesthetic choice as you say, the combat log update and the application of the heal shouldn't be processed at different times. The spell effect should be processed first, THEN the combat log should be updated and the cooldown charged accordingly - not vice versa. It is either a bug or incredibly poor design choice to process the actual spell effect last because it wastes an important cooldown...

    Greetings Shake0615,

We appreciate you taking the time to report this concern you are having to us. However, since this sounds like a discussion on the current state of gameplay rather than a bug report, I will be closing this particular thread. We welcome you to post about this concern in the "Gameplay" forums in order to discuss changes you would like to done to the game.
