PS3 console freezing bug - Retainers & Moogle mail

This bug is causing the PS3 to freeze / lock-up completely when choosing to split item quantities either in the retainer or when adding items to a moogle mail. This only happens when clicking the quantity (which highlights it in green) and then trying to type the number via a keyboard.

Manually changing quantity using directional controls or the R1/L1 buttons does not cause PS3 to crash but this is a very slow method of changing the quantity as it either counts up from 1 or down from 99. Highlighting the quantity and typing the number required is so much faster.

Steps: Retainer bug
1. Select a retainer and go to store/withdraw items
2. Select a item to withdraw and choose the 'split' option
3. Then when the window to choose quantity appears click into the quantity (using mouse) to highlight and then try to type quantity (using keyboard)
4. PS3 will freeze completely forcing user to manually disconnect power (or press and hold power button to shutdown console)

Steps: Moogle Mail bug
1. Select create new mail within the moogle mail menu
2. Choose to add item to mail
3. Then when the window to choose quantity appears click into the quantity (using mouse) to highlight and then try to type quantity (using keyboard)
4. PS3 will freeze completely forcing user to manually disconnect power (or press and hold power button to shutdown console)
