Duty Finder: Come close once, and then several times later, never get even halfway into the heart phase across 5 different groups.

Party Finder: Two attempts with one group and nailed it.

Thornmarch
Duty Finder: Come close once. Most attempts end in utter failure or fall apart before two mogs are dead in the second phase.

Party Finder: First Attempt failed at the end due to healer getting blown to bits by AoE they swore they dodged Second attempt utterly destroy the king.

Duty finder usually gets the people who dont meet gear requirements to join a group in party finder. Not uncommon to see AF geared tanks with 4k hp at DF thornmarch...

If you explain what to do at the start of a match, you can win with DF. Problem with PF is people require you to have already completed it and have no interest in telling you much at all, unless your blessed with a learning party.

Honestly' the only way to learn things is with the DF it seems. Seriously, I was doing ultima hm and one player clearly needed some instruction as she was constantly getting hit w/ AoE. She was a healer and prolly had her eyes on the party's health bar rather than the battlefield. I started to type some tips on where to stand, what to look for, and the general pattern of the battle. But the leader just kicked her say she didn't know how to dodge AoE.

If your new to a fight and the only advice I give is "You need to stop dying so much!" How is that supposed to help you?

with party finder, you just use duty finder when you need to finish a quest.

They did add ilvl requirements to Duty Finder, it's just lower than you'll find in Party Finder groups, that's for sure.
I can confirm, this because I tried to queue up for Main Story Roulette while in lvl1 town gear and it told me I don't meet the minimum ilvl requirement.

Well, unless the ilvl req was only added to Roulette only and not DF in general.

Which merely goes to show those forming PFs have an over-blown view as to the gear requirements because they want to EZMODE it, or else be carried.
