I just did a quick check for Ice Shards for sell on Exodus. One retainer is selling 18k of them at 7 gil a piece. Next retainer on the list is selling 10k of them for the same price. That is just two people, it doesn't include the others selling them at the same price. You don't have to go far to find who has the bots, yet there they stay with nothing done about them. Its blatantly obvious SE doesn't give a crap about doing anything about them. They only go after the RMT chat spammers and sellers when they find them and they only did that after the huge uproar from the community during the first month.

I remember when I first played Aion when it was released. They had a huge bot and RMT problem but coming from the Asian culture, they didn't go after it right away. Well it pretty much chased off most of the subs after the game hit its 3 month mark including myself. I was half scared the same thing would happen to this game. It just drives me nuts how the cheaters are ruining the in game market. Its bad enough as it is will the derp undercutters but the botters dumping their stuff on the market sure doesn't help.

O well the bottom line is, they sell RMT because of profit!!

There are a few private botters running grind but they don't operate professionally. So, their impact on game economy isn't so critical but a few annoyances like those chicken gaming undercutters. However, those professional RMT sellers never operate without profit and they actually ruins the economy to end up hyper-inflation just like that African country.

Aaaaand, companies cannot wield banhammers freely due to shareholders... Usually those RMT operate like a giant factory shop. Just like:

If these many accounts disappear in one day and never come back due to profit reason? It's not good for shareholder's view(Of course, normal players finally met the Justice.) Each of these factory(?) machines running subscription fee and already paid package price(if it's NA price model. Korean MMOs usually only charge subscription fee.) Of course, we can account a few hacked accounts but I guess hacking incident is not so frequent in NA(hopefully, less than Korea, where the shot came from) and takes more effort than opening a new account for such factory(?) owners.
