Bot problem!

Hello community,
i am reporting since weeks a group of botters, always the same guys at the same place, and nothing happening. i am going there ever 2nd day and they are still there.
Some times, i meet there other players , who tell me that they are reporting them too since weeks. So what am i doing wrong and all the other guys, going to that spot just to check, if they are again there and report them?! I mean is Square Enix ignoring such reports?!

They will block them but not one by one. It is just too much work for SE to watch the entire world 24/7.

Also, those botters are one of their 'customers' since they are paying subscription unless a hacked account kicked in. So, they are giving them some time to be addicted(if those botters are not bot factory ones) or taking some probation period to let those botters profit before banned so that they will open a new account. It is kind of pricky way to operate a game but many companies tend to rely on. A good example are Korean MMO game companies like NC.

Of course, I can discuss all day about the disaster if those cheaters are allowed to roam long enough.

Lol. There is a small fc of botters who are also high level relic+1 players in my server. Well they are still around.... player bots I reported since first month of launch are still running around. So.... SE piority RMT > Hacked acct > Haressments > Players who bot, hack and throw infinite stacks of 99 same shit everyday in the market.

If you leave FFXIV ARR before the banhammer to he unleashed by SE. Botter accounts will be blocked someday but not near future.

Best thing to do if you have time to, is report them using the support tab in the game which is located under the orange "XIV" system menu button. There is a section in there for specifically reporting bots and it archives past your reports, their reply status. There is enough space to write the specifics you posted here, the fact that the botters have been there for a while. It does take time for them to investigate each account.

I used to report every single one I found but after three months with seeing the same damn names overnight, I gave up with bothering. Want to see some retainers for bots? Just search fast selling mats and see one name with a ton of stacks for sell, like crystals. Heck the GMs could just track down the owners of those retainers to catch botters, do they? Heck no they don't.

using the report function of the game is useless!!! have done it a few times in the last weeks, noone cares. my mates did the same, noone cares. told even the FC leader about the botters of his own FC but he seems to doesnt care about it. fc donations of over 10 million gil for the housing, i know where that come from^^

are officials looking into this forum btw?
