Firstly, apologies if this is the incorrect forum to be posting this, but I didn't come across a suggestions section for developer oversights and the like.
This is about forced loot in dungeons, though. On Monday, while farming Crystal Tower for a specific drop, I didn't get the chance to roll Pass on an item prior to my party leaving the instance and it forced the item into my inventory and locking me out for the week. This item was not the one I was after. This is even more the issue on PS3, on which I play, as load times are quite a bit longer, so it takes me longer to get out of the cutscene, skipping it, to the load screen and finally able to mess with the loot menu. If you take too long, as I did, you're screwed.
That being said, this is an issue that needs to be looked into... yes we have the chance to vote on loot we do or do not want, up until the final person, that is. Why does only 7 of the 8 or 3 of the 4 get to vote? Why is this paired with a week long loot lockout which screws people over? This happened to 3 of my friends on the very same day in the Crystal Tower. Now we all have gear we don't want and have to wait a whole week to farm again due to Square-Enix's negligence.
Prior to now, it was a problem that should have been addressed. Many-a-time in Wanderer's Palace I'd have useless equipment finding its way into my inventory... but now in Crystal Tower, its not only an issue that needs to be addressed, but a HUGE oversight that should have high priority.
There's a voting system. Its simple. It works. But EVERYONE should get to vote.
