Fantasia Potion topic

I am sure this topic has been posted before,
I was thinking about changing to a female character but on my rewards I have the male swim suit costume. Would that revert to a female swim suit?
Also wondering if they are going to sell the fantasia potions I would love to buy a few for changing my character for fun

I don't believe they would change over since starter clothes don't change. I could be wrong though.

No, there are not currently plans to sell fantasia potions, however you can change hairstyle, hair color, tattoos and face paint by using the asthetician (sp) and paying 2000 gil. They don't want you to change races/genders/ physical features on a whim (It's not something you could just snap your fingers to change in RL either) however they understand that just like in real life we might want to change our hairstyle, dye our hair, etc quite often, so they introduced the asthetician (barber shop) to address the most commonly wanted changes.

This is incorrect. They have already said they wish to introduce new ways to obtain fantasia potions and name changes, but there is no ETA on them adding this as they are undecided on how to introduce it.

The team is still discussing the details around this, but in the future we definitely want to offer more phials of Fantasia as well as something that allows players to change their name.
