Awareness is very usefull in turn 9, as when Naels auto attacks crit, they *censored* hurt! Especially 2 in succession, so I'd disagree, it isnt useless. Also 6 seconds on Holmgang, is a couple of heals with no risk of dieing.

Holmgang lets me cheat death for 6 seconds.
I like it.
A dead tank is no tank :]

Yes it's a life saver, it has saved my life once as well. I'm just saying that it's just no comparison to the potency of Hallowed Ground. It's just that I feel Holmgang has too many down sides.
Now if with Holmgang, while it's active, any damage (except instant kill rage mechanisms obviously) that would have killed you will instead heal you for the same amount, then it feels more powerful. You'll still be hovering about 1HP, but you'll at least have more than just 1HP.

The only change needed is to make sure that if the target does not recieve the effect of bind then neither do you.
The rest is fine.

Yeah holmgang does protect against landslide O_o

It's a pain in the butt to do usually, given the short amount of time that you have it, but you CAN remove the bind by self-removing the Holmgang buff before it runs its course.

The root is fine, I love using it in Titan or Levi or other knockback situations, you just gotta be a pro :P i do think that with level cap increases holmgang will get a trait that increases duration, or reduces cooldown, or grants a 25% health boost at the end.
It wouldn't make sense for you to be able to move while your enemy can't. You don't chain your enemy to the spot, you hold them in place with the chain; the only way it would make sense for you to move is if you pull them along as well, which would actually be fairly hilarious.

I agree it needs a little tweaking for PvE. PvP however. I love it. Oh healer, you can't run don't be silly.

Personally I love the self-bind. It's lead to several hilarious moments for me, which are what keep this game alive. One thing I would LOVE would be an increase in draw range.
