Rainbows do kindof stress my eyes at a distance. Is it white is it rainbowOWOWOWOW Rainbow. It was rainbow ****.
I would have to agree to your comment on the colors, my problem doesn't come from the rainbow color because i can tell if its rainbow by the way it pulses. The problem I keep running into it trying to tell the color from white and red status. Sadly I need to change my monitors hues just to tell the difference and if I'm not in a area that has a dark background, its almost impossible for me to tell. They need to move the synth color to a blue or black menu box or something instead of leaving it on the crafting material, or change the color to something that shows up better
I have both of these problems. I would really like a more sight friendly way to make out the differences. Maybe give us some sort of indicator like DoL have where it shows the current orb color in a dark area at the bottom of the screen.
Why not simply make the crafting platform (table, anvil, ..) and the orb LARGER!
This seems to be the response for monsters and spell effects.
As we know eveything is better larger than life!
Biggest orb is best orb.
I always made sure to craft in an area where I could turn the camera so the orb was against a black background. I also tried to craft in an area with some privacy (I miss my moghouse).
It would be nice if the flashing orb was one of the four other colors of the rainbow: orange, green, blue, or violet. At least three of those would be easily distinguishable from yellow and white.
Nice to see there are some people responding to this.
Because of the ambient light that's in the game, I also tend to prefer finding a dark area to craft in (also miss having a private moghouse). But even with that, there's not much difference to tell between the white and multi colored orbs. Hit an unstable and now you have another layer of effects over it and moving around, and it gets difficult to tell what you're looking at.Biggest orb is best orb.

There's some good ideas flowing in, like having the current state show up inside the craft box or adjusting the colors (darker or a different set).
Yeah some colors are hard to tell apart, depending on your current background color.
The dev. team is currently looking into adjustments related to the orbs that players interact with while crafting, so they'll look into making them easier to distinguish at the same time. Thanks for the feedback!

Another issue I have is when my orb color changes mid-action because of server issues. :/ Love going from white to flashing in the middle of a standard ;D
