Please change the Guilde task icon to differ from Side-Quest/Main Quest.

Many times that you have to talk to the guide task reception in story from side-quest or main-quest. I think something it can get people a little confuse whether they should go to talk with that NPC to check if they will get any new side-quest or not.

And actually... somehow, I feel a little annoyed by this same icon personally too. I wanted to do all side-quests to remove this icon from my screen, but it is impossible now when it use on guide-task icon too now... ^^;

I was just about to post this idea, but found your thread first.

I second this! It's very frustrating to think I found another side/story quest to do, but alas its just to turn in a Guild task. BTW I'm enjoying all the new side-quests that were added in 1.17. The patch notes don't do it justice as to just how many were added

This would be a really easy fix. Just make them different colors to represent different types of quests.

Indeed. Also, would be nice moving it to the front of name instead of above it. Characters like Bodenolf (blacksmith guild - Limsa) have it icon covered by guild symbol, which might become very confusing for new players. I miself got a friend exactly asking about it...because there were a "!" at map but none at NPC heads...there was, but Bodenolf's ! was behind guild symbol.

Yeah, it's pretty annoying thinking I've got a new quest every time I walk by a guild and then remembering and realizing I don't.

Please remove or give the option to remove (!) above npc heads and keep to mini map only
