Corrupted cutscenes?

Whenever I get an FMV cutscene--- including the opening load screen--- there are significant issues. Paramount being that whenever non-interactive text appears on the screen, the screen goes completely white, which I suspect is some sort of layering issue.

There are other problems. Sometimes the screen sort of fades to black and then fades back in. I watched one of the cutscenes on YouTube, and there were numerous visual effects that simply did not happen when I was watching the cutscene on my computer.

Please advise.

So, it's probably poor form to bump your own thread, but this was one of the oldest threads on this subforum without reply and I just thought it was possible it got lost in the shuffle.

If it continues to go without reply I will assume this is the wrong place for this question or something, and will not bump it again.

What GPU do you use? OS? Directx are updated? Did you update your gpu drivers? What you described is a graphical glitch. Usually related to a faulty gpu (low end crap) or drivers not updated from years, with bad dx9 support.
You need to provide more details if you want help. Also, let me suggest you to try opening a support ticket more than throw a thread digged in an hour and forgot. There is a bug section ingame and on this forum.
