Could someone please educate me on how CT works? I thought it was an 8 man raid but then saw the duty finder finding 24 players. I withdrew and figured i should do some research first. It also said something about alliances and loot drops only once a week, and i am SOOOOOOOOO lost on how all this works. can anyone explain to me in stupid dumb persons plain english what all this means and how it works? thank you!

There are 3 eight man parties. You will be engaged in battle with 23 other people, working together (ideally)

After each of the 4 main battles, each party will get a chest which only you and the 7 other people in your party can lot on.

You can obtain 1 piece of loot a week, if something drops and you don't want it...PASS it.

Run it as many times as you want until you get the loot you want!

Just stick with your party and you will be fine, some may disagree but I find this content to be the most fun in game currently.

I think an Alliance is a full party (8 players) Not sure tho, ima a noob too c:

An Alliance is just the term for more than one party "teaming together"

Upon entering CT you can speak to your party through normal party chat /p and if you want to speak to the whole 24 person alliance use /a

Ways to enter CT will be by making your own party, utilize the Party Finder (nice cause you can tell if the leader is a DB or not usually) or simply DF it and be put together with random ppl from different servers.

At this time 2.1, you cannot form your own alliance (well you can but not really)...you will be paired up with 2 other random parties.

Also a nice tip is to try to get a majority of your CT done relatively early in the week, if you wait too long there are people...(don't ask me why...these ppl must not have been hugged enough as children) will join CT just to troll others causing wipes on purpose.

Just go for it, it's fun...the gear is usually a step up from DL...and you get a nice amount of Philo and Myth

When does it reset; are weeks considered Sunday to Saturday, Sunday to Sunday… ?

It resets on mondays at (I believe) Japansese midnight.

I like CT. It's very hectic, like one of those playground areas. It makes the whole raid feel so alive: there are other people aside of your party.

I completed CT last night so it all makes sense to me now. it was very fun
