Sometimes I feel its really a 90% fail rate.
Is there a hidden number somewhere that effects that chance? I don't want everything to be pushover easy, but a 90% chance shouldn't fail 4-5 times in a row.![]()

Ahahahaha I feel your pain man. Same thing goes for gathering. I have an 85% chance and miss 5/6 times. There must be some other calculations going on behind the scenes.
It would be nice to know if it were true, that way I wouldnt be as destroyed as I am by failing to finish a HQ item with10 durability left.
I remember when I failed a 25% chance almost 20 times in a row. Some of the things you see in this game's RNG is almost statistically impossible...
Is Ash Wednesday a Jewish holiday?
???????????
Likewise, I've got 5 HQ mats in a row from gathering without using HQ+ skills a few times. I've also had 701/702 quality in a craft and still NQ'd it. It goes both ways.

Happens so often that it doesn't surprise me anymore.
Dang does that ever hurt... I NQ'd an item I had a 90% to HQ, and I face palmed, no idea what I would have done on a 98% chance and lost... Probably would have involved the KB and a wall...
The "problem" here is that many people expect with 80% chance to succeed 4 out 5 attempts while it's actually let's at least 800 out of 1000 - the distribution of the RNG is over larger sample, not a signle or few isolated crafts / gathers.
