Probably Gun Mage.
Actually there is Gunner, Machinists, and Corsair being the 3 known jobs in FF series that use Guns as their main weapon.
Corsair is introduced in FF11
but
Gunner and Machinists are older Gun user Jobs in FF series
Gunner first appeared in FF7 as Vincent's Job in this game
Machinists first appeared in FF4 as Cid's Job in the game
As interesting as it was in FFX-2, Gun Mage was just a Blue Mage with a gun since Gun Mage is the Blue Mage of FFX-2.

I'm assuming that Musketeer will basically be Gunner with a different name. Machinist seems unlikely to me given the game's mechanics, which leaves Corsair and Gun Mage. We already have a ranged DPS/support in Bard, so I don't think it will be Corsair.Actually there is Gunner, Machinists, and Corsair being the 3 known jobs in FF series that use Guns as their main weapon.

Which leaves Gun Mage.
You have to remember that each class will have 2 Jobs.I'm assuming that Musketeer will basically be Gunner with a different name. As of now Arcanist is the only one with 2 Jobs and the other current classes don't because they don't have a proper sub-class for their 2nd Job level 15 requirements, lacking a 2nd cross-skill option, or just not planned yet.
It is possible to have another DD/Support because each Job brings something different into the group through their skills. Corsair could easily be a DPS/Support with Support skills that focus on improving the party's healing ability or defense compared to Bard which has support skills made to regenerate MP, TP, and increase Magic damage on enemies.
I just think it's unlikely that a second ranged DPS will be another support. Would seem silly. Gun Mage would seem a good way to introduce Blue Mage without calling it Blue Mage. And they could always have Gunner as the second job, which would be more of a a DPS specialiast.
I'm pretty sure Musketeer's first job is Corsair. Limsa is essentially a pirate town after all. I'm really hoping 2.2 is the patch that finally adds some diversity. New jobs for every class, or at least some of them. If this is indeed the Ishgard patch, that means we'll likely see the addition of a new Lancer job (Hoping for Templar - spear+shield tank)
Well it comes down to what is in the category of the word "Maelstrom". As of now the only thing that can be related to Maelstrom is Lisma Lominsa and the Grand Company Maelstrom.I'm pretty sure Musketeer's first job is Corsair. Limsa is essentially a pirate town after all. I'm really hoping 2.2 is the patch that finally adds some diversity. New jobs for every class, or at least some of them. These words could mean a lot of things after all...
