    did anyone see the gtk weapon the npc by the chocobo got or is it a diff weapon?

    That's not a great katana, it's just a regular longsword - the npc is one of the Ishgardian House Fortemps knights, his sword is just being seen from the side so the hilt guards on the sword blend in with the pommel.
