I think.... people worry too much about the names.

Jobs are designed as specialized roles for parties. The various jobs are confirmed to lock out certain skills of your own class as well as other classes. Obviously you would never be able to use these skills again if you were forced to stay as a certain job for your class. So, its equally obvious you will be able to equip/unequip these jobs. AND that means the job system is extremely flexible, allowing multiple jobs for classes, and even certain classes to share jobs.
There is no confirmation of that by either the Community or Development Team. In fact, Bayohne is particularly careful to avoid this particular facet of the Class/Job relationship. That alone makes me wonder.
Because there will be only Job after the changing, which get all traits, which starts at Rank99 and also will be invincible.
j/k XD
Please forgive my presumption, but this all seems fairly clear to me. The best analogy would be a camera lens. Right now, we have access to Classes - such as Lancer, Conjurer, and Pugilist - these are akin to a fully zoomed out, basic Camera lens. Meanwhile, the soon-to-be-added Jobs are akin to a telescopic lens; they can only see a small part of the picture, but they can see it very well.
The telescopic lens of, say, Paladin is useful if you want a close-up and specialize in one area; but in any case where you need to see the whole picture, such as soloing, the wide angle lens of Gladiator is more useful.
In this way, players can choose to be either more diverse, or specialized as the situation dictates. Now, I'll grant that we could realistically always do this by only equipping abilities that augmented one aspect of a given role, but hopefully the specialization offered by Jobs will be above and beyond that.
Kill all the classes right now, and give us the classic jobs to level up from lv. 1!!!
Implement a party system in the way too =)
I'm The First and The Last...
I'm Alpha and Omega...
I'm the Beginning...and The End..
Certainly you'll be able to leve up any of these jobs from lvl 1 provided you haven't touched them thus far. Also there is already a party system, not quite sure what you mean there.
I mean be able to go and kill mobs in a camp (or moving camp, but I prefer a static one) with jobs to be able to make their role. Plus a party system that people would use. As simple as flag up. I know that already was in FFXI, and a lot of people will /rage because I'm asking for a FFXI feature but... that was simple and useful!!
I'm The First and The Last...
I'm Alpha and Omega...
I'm the Beginning...and The End..
^ this
but sadly it will be not like that.....
thats incredible, but this is the 1st time i see a game, where the devs implements new "jobs-classes" that you dont need to lv up.
People talk shit like: "those aren't new classes, this is only a evolution of our old classes...blabla..."
I want to: feel, love.... or hate the new abilities or the jobs proneness... only by grinding you will be able to experince it.
the soul of the RPGs is the lving.... I'm wondering why people wants to ruin it ....
The grinding in FFXIV is crap on so many lvs... then make it more fun.... eliminate it, is not the solution
