This thread is my opinion on how to fix summoners but still keep them in PvP. The biggest thing right now is being able to global someone from 100% health to 0% in matter of 1-2 seconds. I have played 2,000 matches as a summoner and I feel that these are the changes needed.
Once again, this thread was made to give an opinion. I'm not going to waste my time proving that i ONCE hit 2400 Garuda ult.
No. Telling someone you believe that Enkindle is over powered is an opinion. Telling someone you can deal 2400 damage in pvp using enkindle is stating a fact, and either you stick up for your facts or you don't just toss them out there.
I just jumped into a pvp match with my summoner and with 138 Morale and 429 Int a Rouse+Spur Enkindle did 876 damage against the opposing teams whm.
Even in the absolute best case scenario where you got a crit on someone with protect rather than proshell who just happened to be using Blood for Blood you're looking at maybe somewhere in the 1700-1800 range at best.
And are you playing against people with the same stats?
Most of the people I find in pvp matches might be lucky to have half a set of i70 morale gear. Hell more of them are playing wearing nothing but their i90 pve gear.
This isn't a matter of enkindle needing to be nerfed, it's morale system needing to be adjusted to face the fact that without a matchmaking system the damage dealt with high morale and the mitigation lost with low morale leads to amounts of damage that people then blame on an "OP" class. The only reason summoner stands out is because it has the kind of burst damage that best stands out.
The morale system is the problem, the power of enkindle is just an end result. If you don't solve the underlying problem then after you've nerfed one ability people will just complain about the next one.
