Also to the OP: Funny how you play 2,000 matches yet still claim the impossible. A summoner cannot kill anyone in 1-2 seconds. You have to first set up all 3 dots (at least 7 seconds even with swiftcast) buff your pet with rouse + spur (which take at least another 3 - 4 seconds), and then not be line of sighted (either you or your pet) or interrupted (you or your pet), and crit the majority of your burst, along with getting enkindle off during rouse + spur (you only get 1 shot at it since it's a 5 min CD).

Then you must have not tried the burst combo of Spur rouse on pet and time it correctly with raging strikes and enerydrain + aetherburst with ruin 2. I have played my last 400 games doing this and won 392. litterally have sen gurada enkindle crit for 2400 and energy drain for 1k. leaving aetherburst and ruin 2 left to finish the remainding health. Any healers in my Data center know exactly what im talking about.

Why would a 2400 Enkindle be hard to believe?


Correct me if I'm wrong but Rouse + Spur adds 80% damage and the Garuda Enkindle has a potency of 300. Flare is 260 potency and gains +80% from Astral Fire III. It's not uncommon for me to crit upwards of 2,000 with Flare even though my gear is far from the best.

I wouldn't be surprised if both abilities could break 3,000 in an ideal scenario. You are decked out in fully melded rank 30 gear with Raging Strikes and a HQ Mega-Int pot up. Your target is some dps with terrible PVE gear who used Blood for Blood and was hit by Full Blow + Phantom Dart + other crap.

Garuda Enkindle crits normally around 1548 so your 2400 crit is an anomaly and the only way you could kill everybody is if your team already killed their healer otherwise they will heal through the damage and you've wasted a 5min cool down.

- Pretty sure any DPS that uses all it's burst CD's and crits the majority of their attacks can kill someone in around 15 seconds of uninterrupted/unhealed damage.

Lol at all the summoners that can't admit their class is OP. DJ was one of the first summoners to hit rank 30 and has more experience in PvP then anyone here. I have seen with my very own eyes DJ kill a healer in about literally 5 seconds MAX. and then have seen him wipe out everyone else after. Obviously he was overexagrating on the 2 seconds. When an experienced skilled summoner admits the truth everyone just brands him a troll or traitor. Lmao, ok guys

EDIT: To the guys saying he's only capable of that kind of damage due to his i90 pvp gear. I've seen him play pre rank 30 a ton of times and do rediculous amounts of damage. There's a reason you guys are getting nerfed

I think SMN needs a tone down, not to be ruined. Enkindle shouldnt be allowed, I agree. Stop Miasma 2 spam also. Anything more is overnerf.

well, a scholar + 2 summoner cheese set up, vs a random melee pug isn't much fun at all. u are ok with it, because u run the set up... play something other than that comp and go up against it and see how much fun you have watching your debuff bar filled with dots and disease over and over on u as u can never get in range to a slow moving death. and when u finally do, they get insta rezzed and and start the process over. utility is one thing, utility while hitting for 400+ while spamming disease on the target + pet damage is dumb. call it what you want.
