Please stop begging for commendations.

The thing with commendations is that DPS are at a significant disavantage even if they go above and beyond their role as dps. Even if you explain the fight, help someone with their rotation, go out of your way to save a healer by pulling aggro on a mob while the tank is far away (until the tank reaches you and takes aggro), even if you disable a mob or kite mobs while the tank is dead (because...oops) and not die and save your group.... you still MAY not get a commendation because, unfortunately... the mmo community has it in their heads (with the exception of a bunch of players who don't) that tanks/healers have the hardest job... when hardest is seriously relative. For me, it's easy to tank... I fall asleep tanking (haven't tanked in ffxiv yet, but from tanking in many others mmorpgs out there on the market, I feel like I am allowed to say that)... while as dps I actually have to be placing 100 % of my focus or im not performing at my best.

Out of the 11 times i've ran dungeons so far (i'm level 27 at the moment on my ARC), I've received 5 commendations because i've done one or multiple actions mentioned in the above paragraph... so YES I did get commendations...however, out of the other 6/11 runs i did, I didn't... which means I'm receiving less than 50 % of my runs... which means in theory, I'd have to run dungeons more than 1000 times to get that reward.

While I agree... you shouldn't beg or ask for a commendation... I completely understand why some people do.
