Commendation and Abandoned Duty

This is just a dream of mine, but when they add the vote to abandon duty feature, it would be great to be able to commend players despite failing to complete the duty. I just did Titan HM with two DF groups and in both there was at least 1 exceptional player who I would have loved to commend despite how miserable the actual attempts went (a great scholar with whom we managed to survive with just the two of us for a remarkable amount of time and a monk who was doing a fantastic job in the minimal possible gear for it).

I somehow doubt this will happen. Nice idea, though for sure.
