So ferry became a cutscene(cs), so what about this , if SE enabled it to travel for 10 minutes again and throw in some cool events , like fates with pirate ships approaching and firing salvos trying to hit the passanger ship's escort ships while other ships from the pirate squadron tried to board the passenger/merchant ship and the adventurers that were travelling aboard fended them off?

Or Sahagin climbing aboard to take passengers as sacrifices to summon Leviathan , or a GHOST SHIP! with fog coming down suddently making the ferry stop and skeletons and zombies boarding the ship trying to EAT the passengers?OR! A sea monster! one of the form of a giant squid/octopus trying to capsize the ship with its giant tentacles and with adventurers hitting the tentacles trying to make the monster leave the ship alone(I am sure Yoshi would love this!:P).

This could also go to the airships. Why not? Having sky pirates on a boarding action high above the clouds! or the Garleans smelling garlic trying to disrupt the airship lines of the city-states!

The possibilities are a lot! Dare I say , endless!

Yes of course people that don't want to go through the travel should be allowed to get their cs instead!

With teleports already in game, I don't see why they can't do this. Introduce sky ferry rides just like they had regular ferry rides in 11. You could fish for cloud fish, and there could be random events like when the skeletons used to attack the ferry you were on.
