Can your inventory be increased ?

can this be done and if you store items for crafting in your retainers inventory can you use it no matter where you are,Cause I'm concentrating on crafting only at the moment and I use miner and botanist to gather enough of the materials and ran out of space fast and can't continue crafting cause i exceeded my max inventory 4 which is too low for all that you need to do in the gathering and crafting category.can someone answer this if you know if not don't,please and thank you.

There's currently no way to increase your personal inventory. You're limited to two retainers total and they can only be accessed at the summoning bells inside the main cities.

You can't get more space but are you using all you have ?

You have 2 retainers. Are you using all the storage space in both. There's about 80 - 100 spaces in each. Not to mention 20 sale spaces in rach. Even if you're keeping stuff, just put them up for really high prices and its essentially more storage. And then theres your own inventory. And you can keep the weapons in your armory chest instead of the inventory.

Loads of room for all your bits and bobs. It can get crowded if you're doing a few crafting classes at once.

It is not possible to increase your inventory space.

It is not possible to craft with materials that are not in your inventory.

What other answer are you looking for?

You just need to learn to manage your inventory better. Find something to do with the items you craft, preferably turning them in for guildleves or grand company, so that they don't clutter your inventory. Plan out what you're going to make in advance (Hey, remember those guildleves and GC supply missions?) and head out to gather materials specifically for those items. Only keep on hand the items you need. Everything else, either put it on your retainer if it's something you use often, or sell it if you don't. You can always get it again. I've been doing quite a heap of crafting myself lately, and I usually have less than half my inventory full.

My inventory would increase 14 slots if SE would let certain seasonal gear be put in the Armoir.

...how does that help this matter at all? Those should be in your armoury chest, and not taking up the same inventory as your ingredients. That said, they'll likely be adding those to the armoire (minus the dream equipment, as it's one of the old old old old old old old seasonal items that are tradeable) in the next patch.

You cannot access your retainer's inventory unless you go to a retainer bell to call them because the retainer is the inventory holder, it is not something your character can carry with him or access remotely without first calling the retainer.

There are retainer bells in the inn rooms that are located within the three main cities adventurer's guild, in the main cities near the markets[retainer npc counter] and in the future there will be ways to put retainer bells in FC housing. There is currently no other way to access the retainer inventory :example: when you are not at a retainer bell or when you are elsewhere away from a retainer bell or when you are free roaming.

It helps because not everyone has the perfect inventory. Sure maybe someone gathered too many items. Instead of selling them off to an NPC vendors it may take a while to clear them through the Market Board to try to make a little more money. Like cooking. I know I will do that last so I am selling off my cooking materials.

Add in different levels of DoW, DoM, DotH, DotL, where maybe you can't share equipment because the levels are too far apart, then you have multiple gear sets.

So, yes, until the crafters are the same level and can share the same gear, gatherers at the same level and share the same gear, melee dps, caster dps, heals, tanks, are all the same level as they are leveling up to share the same gear, we can indeed have an overflowing armory. SE releasing these items without letting us throw them into the armoire certainly does not help.
