    Only good thing about this is that you could possibly create a dungeon out of the ghost train. Which would actually be pretty awesome. Otherwise I see no point and nobody would use it.

    oh did you get spoiled by all the instant transportation, and now you can't even imagine having to actually travel? Oh wait, you don't even have to travel to do all the major content dungeons.

    Sorry that I actually want a believable, livable, lively world.

    Sure, that's exactly what I said. Actually I liked FFXI where traveling is tougher. I liked the boat rides, with mobs/fishing etc, but an hour long train ride seems like overkill. They would have to completely eliminate chocobos and teleports to even make that feasible. The world here is too small for that. Scenery seems like it would never happen either. They couldn't even let you look out your FC houses window. Sorry for being realistic. I support more modes of transportation but they have to be somewhat necessary.

    You just brought up the point that this MMO is very lacking in many aspects and should have not been released until next year.

    I see a whole lot of tracks in central Thanlan with no trains....it's a shame that even that is missing some flavour

    I would actually like a slow transportation option. Like taking a boat from Gridania to Limsa and fishing on the trip over. Would be a nice change of pace. But it should be optional.

    That aside, a ghost train dungeon would be sick. A narrow corridor with little maneuverability and lots of mobs jumping out at you. Would love that.
