CT Noobs

Here is progression in my head... and it is the path I took for my bard and monk.

AK/WP/HM --> DL/relic --> CT --> Coil


I have seen many noobs in CT that

AF/AK/WP --> CT


I know some people will argue with this... but clearly not having relic or even DL will show in CT boss fights.

1. Low HP - you are more likely to get one shotted
2. Low DPS
3. Less experienced...

I bet if you throw these noobs at titan, they will fail miserably.

I have final two points.

1. Learn/Research CT before you jump in because ppl don't like carrying you noobs.
2. Stop whatever you are doing with green icon on your noobish head and place the damn comets outside of the ring and not on the path to the tower.

Oh one more final... stop sucking... CT is not hard. If you don't know the mechanics or if you don't have DL and relic stay the hell away because you are wasting other people's time.

Get 3 groups from FC, queue as less used language, get everyone to accept apart from 3 grp leaders, should be 21/24, can say if its popped over TS, go go.

And grinding AK/WP for days on end to get Darklight =/= Experienced.

Might this difference in progression maybe have something to do with CT not being in game while most fresh 50s grinded AK and WP to get full DL (and even mythology pieces and allagan gear) for themselves? There is absolutely no reason for fresh 50s to skip their weekly CT piece while they're also farming tomes for darklight and relic gear. And with how fast philosophy tomes are to get there's pretty much no reason to bother with AK gear anymore either.

I went through CT as ilvl 55 I'm a PLD and I happen to just understand the fight and the mechanics, I've been perfectly fine in every single run I've ever done.

one sad thing about this game.. relic=/= experience.. not one bit. I had a relic +1/af+1 pld in garuda extreme that had no idea how voke worked, and had no idea how to do swaps and no idea how to survive double wheel. We eventually had to switch so i was MT, and then when the sisters popped, he kept accidentally voking garuda when the sisters pop.

The only gear in the game that demonstrates experience is allagan pieces. This isnt to say that there arent people without allagan that are good players, just that youre more likely to see people in allagan perform well than without.

Except a group can carry someone through those fights. They can be dead the whole time and still the group carries them through it and they get their relic.

Titan/Relic carries invalidate your argument. Heck, unless everyone ONLY does their Relic quest with others on their Relic quests...there's a level of carrying even without buying.

I have freaking five relics, 3 of which are on jobs I rarely use. If I went to CT on my full dl relic'd dragoon, I'd be noobing it up so hard.
