This would only happen in PUG parties.
OP idea is good for FC parties

Until you spread all classes.
Then you "just" have to deal a discussion with the other 2 of your class of your FC about who gets that drop. Who gets priority, exactly? Officers?
Oh right, the FC deal with RNG gods running endless all day all week until the last 24th guy gets his drop right? Amazing those nolifer FC out there lol

Also, RNG is RNG. You may do CT 20-100 times in a row, and no BLM item will drop.

Ye, works on FC parties (assuming all 8 parties got their istance room together), be sure you got 24 guys who remembers to press pass, expecially the one who got "their lootz".

(Psychologically, remaining tuned with OP purpose to trick your mind you don't give a crap anymore, you're just running for others until you have time to play.
Even a nolifer has a limit after 30 CT runs in a row just for that guy whining about his missing loot. May happens to forget to press pass and wait until everyone diligently press pass waiting next run )

The only tyhing this threads reminds me is a copypaste of this topic , where we was discussing if this was some kind of exploit (or mostly abuse of how the system is designed, and ye requires preformed parties and serious costant players)

Yeah I saw a bard lot on a belt, and later bard pants, and body dropped... know he was mad lol... Also I wish we could give a piece to a friend or something. I got Mnk body on accident cause I was slow to get out of the final boss CS in a random group... I was maddddddd... LOL

Not at all! For the last two weeks I planned to get a piece from two different choices, like pants and boots for example.

The idea was if one drops, I'll buy the other with myth. It's worked so far.

Here's a thought, make your own party, build it with diversity there's like 9 jobs in the game so why try to force an illogical group comp and make your life easier. That way you create a more positive group experience and you can get what you want hassle free without all these shenanigans. Also it doesn't take a rocket scientist worth of gear to clear these fights in the average gear it says as more often than not you will have overly geared people in other groups to do some more of the heavy lifting. The only fight in the entire dungeon where its not all in the same area is the trash hallway before Thanatos. Stay on your platforms and you will be fine.
