Each and every aa interupts spell casting, oh and we have range aa dealers , oh but to counter that they dont do much damage...

... WTF, didnt it occur that adding a interupt to each AA messes up any class that has a cast timer ? Like...oh I dont know, healers and magic DD ?

Why didnt Yoshi and co simply say the PvP is not available for DoM rather than subject us to the abuse and embarrassment of not being able to cast a single bloody spell in battle.
Yoshi are you some really frustrated DD that got their glory stolen by a healer or caster in some other game ?
This system is simple and honestly totally retarded and stupid.. ill considered and ill conceived and a example of every possible manner not to do PvP... please remove DoM pvp.

DoW's are having more issues than DoM are right now, considering you can sprint unlimitedly and bunnyhop glitch out of every attack, I'd quit complaining

The PvP's structured for something like GC vs GC combat, like old school DAOC style, which is why you get interrupts on damage.
That kind of system doesn't work that well in small scale, but in raid vs raid it's fine.

That said, casters are doing fine.
It's really rough until you get enough levels for PvP abilities, but once you get them things are okay.

1. There are a few skills that can counter the interrupt on attack damage.
2. If there were no interrupts on direct damage no one would ever kill a white mage cause CureII is too real for death

Why not then use the same system nearly all the other MMO's do regarding PvP and casters... each hit increases the cast time slightly, not interrupt all cast timers all the time. The only skills I have that do not have a cast time are things like regen, benediction, surecast (which would allow for a single cast time spell to be fired off... if it works properly), Aero I ...

My 2 matches which I just jumped on to look at the mode was ...

Buff, start, pling pling pling why pling cant pling I pling cast pling anything pling... no matter where I ran.
The second match was more of the same...swarmed the healer, and got told to go commit suicide in real life by one of the players.

I didnt even get a look at the bloody arena I was targeted so fast... are the stuff in the arena to LoS enemies ? Platforms, stairs ? I dont know... didnt see.
Not fun wont bother with it again.

If you've only played 2 matches, you don't have PvP gear or PvP skills - you need both.

I was going to call you some pretty nasty names for joining a single match and not attempting to learn a single thing about pvp before handing down a solid and uncompromising judgment...

But then I noticed that you put in the massive effort to try it two times before entirely giving up so I believe we should all heed your well researched and solidly founded analysis.

Perhaps though you should attempt a third run, and I know I'm being ridiculous here, I would suggest you start with those wall shaped objects if you are still interested in finding something that can be used to block an enemies line of sight. In case you missed them on your first or second attempts they are the ones shaped like walls. Now don't confuse them with the large pillar shaped objects that may also possibly used to block people as those are something entirely different.

I only attempted twice as the 2nd time I was told to go commit suicide in real life by the very pleasant PvP community, and for some silly reason I thought the PvP was tiered by skill and as a new player I would have a opportunity to learn the ropes not get thrown in with such serious players who would rather fellow players go kill themselves rather than ruin a battle for them.

I also mentioned that due to being basically rushed and destroyed I had little to no opportunity to actually see the arena, so I have no idea of the make up of the arena...as I mentioned in a follow up post you may of been able to read if you were not so happily spending so much time typing out your useless and ultimately irrelevant sarcastic drivel.

My advice to you is simple, if you do not wish to help or even add to the topic, dont type anything...then the offending topic will drop out from page 1 and be lost.
