Patch 1.17c..?

I heard we are getting Chocobo's and Cait Sith in 1.17c. Oh and ridable pokemon too.

I do get a little excited... he did say:

1.18 is going to be relatively bigger than previous patches. This means that balancing is going to take more time than usual, and so we’re anticipating a somewhat longer period between patches. Even if we break off some of the content and release it ahead of time in a 1.17b patch (which me might!), 1.18 will still go live sometime in mid-June at the earliest. Sorry for that.

In the Letter from the Producer, IX (05/02/2011), maybe 1.17b = 1.17c, see how we go, I guess "me might".

Fun fact: In the original Japanese text, he makes no mention at all of the possibility of "breaking off content and releasing it early"

LOL j/k I'm sure its just a few tweaks and adjustments to prepare for the Battle System update in 2 weeks. Either that or something else important that needs to be addressed.
