Teach me how to SCH

My WHM is almost fully myth so it's time for me so start working on another sub.
I know SCH is all about preventing damage.
But I don't really get how SCH work with there moves. Like for and Eye for an Eye should I cast that for only on bosses.
Succor I've seen a lot which is a barrier for everyone
Aqua is only a barrier for one person
But what are the other moves for a SCH and how should I use them? Any Cross Class skills I should have besides swiftcast? I already have that skill so I don't need to worry
But like the title says Teach me how to SCH.

When I go to the macro thing it says
Name... Which as what do I want to call the macro
But for the other part do I type

/ac Phisick <t>
/pac Embrace <t>
Do I type all of that in one macro?
Also can you only use macro is dungeons, raids, ect?

I use stoneskin as a sch. A little extra protection. seem to rotate aldo and psykick for the most part and when im lazy spam succor. Lazy sch reporting for duty.

Only advice i can give is remember you don't have the focus healing power as WHM (unless you obey EOS and focus her heals), but you have pretty much infinite MP so you can spam heal a lot more. Im sure some pro healers have it nailed though, our FC healer can solo heal a lot on his SCH, i find it pretty impressive haha. Sometimes Selena is better in some cases, for example our SCH uses selena all the time in coils for the speed buffs as healing is not an issue.

Micro-managing the pet helps a fair bit, Adloquium is your mostly used heal, when it crits it puts a shield up for double the amount healed, otherwise it's just the amount healed.

Succor is best used when you know an AoE is coming up that can't be avoided, pair it with sacred soil if at all possible(unlike Adloquium it always shields for the amount healed).

As far as Eye for an Eye goes, it's honestly best used on trash, it's decent on bosses, but it shines on trash due to it being a proc and putting a debuff on anything hitting, in other words... Use it on cooldown on bosses, save it for large trash packs(Yay, WP speed runs) if not on a boss.

Physick is basically Cure, but mostly used to bring someone up to full health after using Adlo for the shield.

Sacred Shield is this nice little bubble you put on the ground that people can stand in and take less damage while it's up, use at your discretion(remember, it uses an Aetherflow stack...)

Lustrate is fucking amazing, I use it a fair bit, mostly to blast someone up, or to quickly top someone off, it also uses an Aetherflow stack.

Ressurection, Raise, learned later, always able to be used in battle.

Leeches, same as Esuna, but learned a hell of a lot later.

Virus, yay, boss does less damage.

Choosing which pet to use is up to you, they both cast embrace so little healing lost depending, Eos's Whispering Dawn and Fey Illumination are nice in case of emergency though.

Selene uses skill speed buffs on the party. It's good for any farmed content that you know you won't be needing stronger heals, it's good for any time you just want to deal more damage and it's the fairy to use on any content that's a strict DPS check (Turn 4, Ultima, etc).
Eos has a defense buff, an AoE regen and a healing potency buff. Need more healing? Eos. Constant AoE damage? Eos. Damage spikes at some point of the fight? Eos. That said, she requires good micromanaging to use her decently, otherwise she will just blow all your cooldowns when the party is full life.

Eos is the main healer. You are just a sub healer. If a whm is around you are the 3rd healer in support of the Whm and Eos.

Buy Eos and Selena pretty things. Or they will mpk you and your team.

Last but not least switch in and out of Cleric Stance whenever there is an opening to throw in DoTs.

Eos is a bit more aggressive as a healer than Selene, though I think that's somewhat unintended. As I said, both have Embrace.

Eos is a bit more power heal based, having Whispering Dawn(15y Radius, 100 potency, 21s duration, 57.72s cooldown, basically an AoE HoT), Fey Illumination(which is pretty much our version of Divine Seal, 20% increased outgoing heals for 20s, 15y radius, 2m cooldown) and Fey Covenant(2m Cooldown, 20s duration, 15y radius boosts magic defense by 20%).

Selene is more of a utility pet, having Fey Glow(20y radius, 30s duration, 1m cooldown, increases spell speed of self and nearby party members by 30%) and Fey Light(same as Fey Glow, but Skill Speed), they cannot be up at the same time, but since both are on a one minute cooldown... They can be used after the other is finished so you always have something up. She also has Silent Dusk, which is a Silence on a 40s cooldown.
