Can you explain to us what's so great with this choice? From where I stand, the "pros" would have to be amazing to compensate for such terrible "cons".Another user blaming "netcode" who has absolutely no idea what the words he speaks mean. They didn't fix "netcode" they increased the amount of times per second they sample your player location. Also, "netcode" isn't the problem. They chose a networking paradigm that favors better connections to the server. No amount of better "netcode" will fix the cons of that system. They chose it because of its list of pros. There is a very good reason programs like battleping make the game more playable for those with a high ping. It's because the connection between you and the server is poor which is not ideal for the server style. IF it was the servers problem those programs would have little to no benefit.
