These issues can happen in GW2 and Tera too.

A few months ago I was having a 2 second delay on GW2. For several weeks TERA was unplayable for me because I kept getting disconnected every 5 minutes and when I was connected other people just saw me teleporting all over the place and I wasn't able to touch any monsters.

And guess what, while this was happening in these games, other games worked perfectly.

Does that mean GW2 and TERA were the problem? Are you really that short-sighted?

They chose it because of its list of pros. There is a very good reason programs like battleping make the game more playable for those with a high ping. It's because the connection between you and the server is poor which is not ideal for the server style. IF it was the servers problem those programs would have little to no benefit.
Can you explain to us what's so great with this choice? From where I stand, the "pros" would have to be amazing to compensate for such terrible "cons".
