    Sure elite people will fast connections may find content a joke. But they already are. Where anyone with any bit of a connection issue is failing way to often when it's not them or server but 3rd party ISP issues/ time of day/ something out of there control.
    That is another problem entirely.
    I laughed so hard when Yoshida mentioned that reducing boss ability cast times would make it impossible to design hard encounters.
    I mean, really? PvE MMORPG difficulty is all about split-second twitch reactions for people with good connections and pre-moving to anticipate scripted telegraphs for others?
    Oh, wow, I'm speechless, really. Talk about a cheap approach.

    That means you have a 1.7 second delay which can only be caused by horrible ISP, horrible wireless, or your internet getting D/Ced. Square has nothing to do with this problem.
    And this is exactly why should he play ANY other game on the market, including Tera or GW, he'd never encounter this problem. That line to Montreal must be cursed, I guess...

    These issues can happen in GW2 and Tera too.

    A few months ago I was having a 2 second delay on GW2. For several weeks TERA was unplayable for me because I kept getting disconnected every 5 minutes and when I was connected other people just saw me teleporting all over the place and I wasn't able to touch any monsters.

    And guess what, while this was happening in these games, other games worked perfectly.


    Does that mean GW2 and TERA were the problem? Are you really that short-sighted?
