On topic, a little tip: Don't jump out of AoE, I heard that the server won't recognise your position whilst you do so.

As soon as you are out of AoE, quickly hit an instant cast. As soon as you use a skill, the server updates your location.

The problem is, I think Square can still play the 'it's your system/connection' card. For example, my wireless in Doncaster UK is significantly more useful than my wireless in Leeds for FFXIV. It takes up to twenty seconds for NPCs to load in the latter location.

I'm not defending the netcode - I know there's an issue - but, until everybody has an extreme problem like yourself, I don't expect SE to strip the game down to fix it.

In Leeds myself, in my opinion, EU servers would fix the problem. However, (this is purely just for me and my FC, I understand its different for every person) it makes it just a little more challenging, if your reactions are there, its not a problem.

He shouldn't even have to worry about all that crap.
Oh you didn't instant cast after you got out of the aoe, that's what your doing wrong, and you jumped!
