Steps:
1. Logged in game after patch, all Gil and Shards missing from Free Company Chest.
2. Been talking back and forth with GM(s) about bug that occurred during log in back to game.
3.. First, GM assumed another withdrew before patch, however only I could access Gil / Shards as well as verified totals before (Free Company members handed to me to place in chest).
4. Currently afraid to use Free Company chest for Gil / Shards which is a nice feature of being part of a free company.

Original Message to GM (submitted one day after release of 2.1):

"Hello!

Our shards and gil in company chest have disappeared since patch 2.1. At first we thought it may had been just a quick bug that would be fixed by today. However, as this has not been fixed and no one from guild has withdrawn any shards or gil, we are to report it here. We're all close knit real life friends, and no history after patch of withdrawals. I am confident you have a server log of the missing stuff, but just to confirm --

Missing:
Elemental Shards - Roughly 400-500 of each (Not sure on exact count / No crystals or clusters)
Gil - From check before patch, 14,300,000

I have advised no one to touch the company chest until this issue is resolved.

Closing Remarks

This is a very troubling bug as well as the GM responses of placing blame on another of their customers without verifying for themselves first. Was dancing around with GM(s) until they finally sent me the template message of reporting this bug here. While it would be nice to retrieve our Gil / Shards back after all the work the Company went through to save up, I understand this probably will not happen.

However, because of this bug we are understandingly afraid to use this feature of the game. If a patch can wipe out what we store, and if the GMs won't remedy this... is there a reason to have this feature?

I hope to use this bug report as a warning to other Free Companies as well. Thank you for your time, and may this issue be resolved soon!
