SLI isnt working for me!! Only in Surround though?

FWIW - SLI doesn't work when using NVSurround. Atleast not in the benchmark (and im not reformatting my pc and installing the game until I have SLI working there first as I have no reason to believe the game will be any different)

I have quad titans and I get 4100pts @ 4680x2560 lol. It worked in the past and I got about 12k but between then and now something has stopped SLI from triggering completely. I recently discovered the visual SLI indicator option which just adds proof to the pudding so to speak. It shows up in 3dmark, valley, heaven w/e else I choose to run but something for some reason with the FFXIV benchmark isn't letting SLI work.

again, this has something to do w/ surround because if I change to 1 monitor POOF SLI and SLI indicator works fine and the performance that comes along with it.

I didn't build a quad titan rig for 30 fps >.< help!

Have installed the game, hopingit would work and I could ignore the benchmark. No luck as suspsected. Usually under 30fps with quad titans. Awesome.

Sounds like a driver issue if anything. Tried the NVidia tech forums?

thank you for the response but yes... ive tried EVERYTHING I could think of AND/OR find on the net before turning to posting. And ive been using pc's for 20 years or so. Im just out of ideas and I can find very little that directly relates to my particular issue.

I did hear z87 had issues with surround but then I then I realized it wouldn't work in everything else then

Literally just this game and just in surround. Its almost like it thinks surround = windowed or something (I heard sli doesn't work w/ ffxiv in windowed mode)

Hopefully someone will come across this with some insight (ideally someone from square!) does that ever happen or are they like most and just leave us to our own to figure these things out or deal with them?

Dunno if this will help at all in your case but I did find a post from a while back from someone saying the only way they got some other game to work like that was to have all 3 screens on the same video card.

I know zero about multi-display setups since I use a single 29" 2560x1440 screen but maybe that can help you. Sorry I've got no other ideas.

Hope you fix it. I saw a YouTube video of the game on 3 screens and it looked pretty nice.

Thank you again for the reply, it speaks volumes. Even if it doesn't "fix" it im glad to have a response to read. It does look amazing on 3 screens, even that is an understatement. Unfortunately I wont play at 30 fps. It just kills me to get that kind of framerate with this kind of pc.

I did come across the thread your referring to during my day long searches for a fix, however surround forces me to connect the cards the way I have them connected. Its odd too. Requires one card, 2nd card, skip a card, last card.

nonetheless - consider this a bump a sad sad bump. Offer still stands, 20 bucks via paypal or a ffxiv regsistration key for the individual or individuals who gets this working ^^

This is for crossfire, I'm not really sure if it's just placebo effect or does something. It didn't seem to boost my benchmark half as much as I thought it would.

Are you sure? Because I've seen SLI working, matter a fact I have used it myself when surround isn't enabled. I've also seen others use it WITH surround enabled. However so far none on windows 8.1 and none using tri or quad SLI.

Be real cool to hear from someone with Square but after being hung up on rudely by a csr I won't hold my breath.

I am going to check it out now. It may be one I have already seen that I have already posted in. If not, wish me luck! If by some chance it turns out to something, you just became 20 dollars richer
