    If you look at the tech support forums its more than just Fios customers. Having Fios is a coincidence. Verizon doesn't care what we are doing with our connections, and they throttle/limit NOTHING. Now granted....maybe Verizon is lying. It's possible but I highly doubt it. EVERY other PC game I have works fine. That includes other MMO's.

    Our FC is in the same boat. We have a few people with FIOS in the Baltimore area, all of them are having the same issue. Where we could face roll Titan hard mode before, we are lucky to finish now. You can completely forget about Titan EM. VPN services do help however I refuse to pay more for a game I am already subbing while also paying an arm and a leg for a 75/35 internet connection.

    Everyone keeps pointing the finger at FIOS. I've been on the phone with them a couple times now with higher level support and they are being very insistent that they are not throttling the game at all. They are sending me a new modem that we hope will help as I just upgraded to quantum.

    It's not Verizon, it's a company called Level3 (www.level3.net). Specifically, they have a router in Montreal called ae-11-11.car2.Montreal2.Level3.net [4.69.141.1] that seems to be having issues. I know a lot of Sprint customers are ending up on their route, as well as a lot of East Coast Verizon customers. It's possible your ISP could adjust the route, but somewhat unlikely you'd get them to do it.

    Last time I did a traceroute that hop was the issue...hmmm. So what can we do?

    *** I just did a traceroute to 184.107.107.176. I am not going through level3 anymore and my pings are fine. I'll go in game and see if I have any lag. Maybe they change our routes later in the day?

    Maybe people need to start contacting level 3 maybe they aren't aware something is wrong with their router.

    I've already sent them a note about it, but unless you're a business partner of theirs they tend not to care much about what you have to say. Your best bet (and it's a long shot) is to contact your ISP, ask for a "tier 3 technician", get the technician to let you send them a traceroute, and then after a couple of weeks if enough complaints are filed and the same tier 3 tech happens to see a few dozen of them they may get on the phone with Level3 which will start to look into the issue a few weeks after that.

    But again, that's a long shot.

    maybe try switching service providers I hear time warner is decent. I signed a 2 yr with Fios so i'm screwed until next year if this issue isn't resolved.

    I had many issues with Time Warner. Their internet sucked and I would get throttled at random hours. FIOS is the best service in the USA next to Gfiber last I looked. This is the only game that has issues. Right now the game is running great for me though. Later I assume it will take a different route and turn to crap
