Blame all the people playing dps wanting to pewpew, and not learn how to roll a tank or healer.

Cant count how many times in TS3 or vent, that I have gotten to discussion on the amount of dps people play vs heals and tanks, and most people say something along the lines of:

"It looks too hard, I don't want to have the responsibility they have, so I play dps"

I find dps fun, tanking and healing looked boring to me, and intimidating, but I rolled a tank and a healer, and can keep up with the best, and I enjoy both probably more-so than dps.

There will always be more DPS than there will tanks or healers. Thats a symptom that all MMO's have. But, you shouldn't be "forced" to play a tank or healer due to the wait being unreasonably long. There are tanks on, I see them all the time. Problem is, there isn't enough incentive to call them into action. A little extra xp and money ONCE a day, isnt enough to solve the queue time issues. Blizzard solved theres, they added a goodie bag that at the least contained flasks, money and such, AND you got it every time you queued. Which made it more worthwhile to run dungeons. Giving it out once, isnt enough. People do it once then forget about it.

Waiting and DPs go hand in hand for every mmo in existence. Its the main reason I roll tank. Every. Single. Time.

I didn't even realize other classes were waiting.

I rolled a tank and have never spent more than 2 minutes waiting for an instance.

    (sorry to the DPS'ers)

I came up with a "unethical" solution after waiting an hour to get in CT:
1.- Invite a friend or someone who is a tank/healer and is doing something else but DF/dungeons.
2.- Join any dungeon in DF.
    3.- Pum ¡ Insta-queue time. Join Party.
4.- Wait to get into dungeon.
5.- Friend withdraw and keeps doing what he/she was doing.
6.- Wait for the replace, usually less than a minute.
    7.- ???
    8.- Profit

The wait times have been off-putting before...
But I've just started trying to get Thornmarch done...

    Bloody hell, this is terrible.

the party design simply sucks. waiting time are a general problem in mmos for years since its well known that most of the ppl play dd anyway where it's pretty easy to solve the problem by creating dungeons which require more dds....imagine the dungeons to be designed to need a team of 1 tank, 3-4 dds and 1-2 healer, queue times for pretty much everyone would easily drop by huge amouts! And additionally create space for way more intresting boss mechanics!
