Wait for everything because of drop outs

Of my in-game time I estimate I have waited for 70% of the time. Mostly by Revenants toll, which seems to be the optimal "waiting spot".

xtreme waiting time for everything. And when you suddenly have gathered a party, some wonderful people test 1 or 2 times and drop out, which usually splits the whole party, and you have to wait again.

If the person drops out, hes punished by 15 min. This is wrong. I seriously mean that a person that joins a party, and drops out, should be punished by the total waiting time party leader. Some times I wait for a COIL for 2 hours, get party, then 1 person drops out because 1 other isnt experience. This often lowers the partys morale, which ends with a party split.

Perfect way of wasting my time.

The party leader should be the one to decide if the one who drops out is to be punished or not, often the party leader is the one who waited the longest time.

Am I the only one waiting all the time?!

To solve the drop out problems. If a rage drop out or similar has a longer punishment, maybe they will not drop out so easily. And if the drop out is resonable, not rage or similar, the party leader can grant a punish-free drop out/leave.

there's always going to be a wait when you run as a dps.
There is always more people playing DPS than healers and even less people playing tanks. It's this way in any MMO you go to, especially theme-park MMO's.

No question about it. But it is still possible to reduce the waiting. As the first reply states, it sounds like people bought the game because they like to wait. Nobody likes to wait, so beat it. It is not everybody that have time to play every day a week. Therefore the playing time is more treasured. Yoshi only says that he sees MMORPGs like a theme-park. It was not made for waiting, but it is not avoidable, but reduceble.

If you solo queue up to something, expect to wait until the Duty finder has made the party for you.
Otherwise, make a premade or roll tank or healer yourself.

Regardless of what you do in any MMO you're going to have to wait a certain amount of time. The only time where you do not have to wait to do content is if you already have a party of 4 people. They already resolved the issue of reserving an instance, so now the only wait time is waiting on actual people to play the game with you. SE can't do anything about that. If 90% of the tanks want to do a premade party with their FC/LS then that leaves even less tanks that queue up for the DF. The roulette has helped a little bit in this by giving those tanks and healers that mostly run things in premades incentives to running in DF.

If SE made everything soloable, you might as well be playing a stand alone rpg. You can't do anything about the people trolling groups in DF, if someone decides that they no longer have time to do a dungeon when the acceptance pops and they declined, nothing can be done about that. I've waited for 30+ minutes on my DRG and while doing other things forgot that I queued up and when it finally pops had to decline because I no longer had time to run it. All that happens there if a dps declines is you stay at the front of the line for another dps, same thing if a tank declines, you don't get sent to the back, you just have to wait for another tank to queue up.
