yeh In FULL DL gear which means ppl would have to have item lv 70 but is not the case cuz the requirement is item Lv 57 and Party finder ppl usually put 60,65.This has nothing to do with time, everybody plays at their own pace. However a good party should be able to get it down without LB1 in full Darklight gear. If you are prepared for this fight, and you are struggling, it is not because of LB. If your DPS is so low your healers will suffer at the end of the fight as well.
You don't need full DL gear. Maybe 2-3 DL gears and 1-2 CT gears. And the rest AK + WP gear. And maybe also a Garuda or Moogle weapon if you are lucky.

If they want to put the minimum amount of effort into it, sure. At that point they have nobody to blame but themselves.
Out of respect for my party I did my dragoon's relic titan kill in full DL gear in the duty finder.
The nerf was unnecessary and not needed, please remove the nerf.
For people struggling with Titan -
Use the party finder feature to insure your party are realtively geared. (I got my first relic via DF. Pure luck that my party knew what to do)
If people are dying then they either can't avoid AOE or they aren't geared enough to eat the tumults.
Healers shouldn't have to cast a direct cure on anyone apart from the tank. Everyone else should only require medica / II and Succor.
If the tank is eating every bomb he's doing it wrong. At ilevel 85 I still avoid bombs. You get sweet spots - use them!
The heart phase doesn't need a LB but it does help. Destroy the first gaol and ignore the 2nd. Save all Damage buffs for that moment. Heck use a DEX/STR potion if you want a 15s buff.
Use food. 2.1 came with the greatest buff - not losing food benefits after death.
Titan isn't as hard as it's made out. Learn the rotation and you'll be golden![]()
Which DF dungeon exactly requires a Lv 2 / Lv 3 LB?
Uhm, I'm confused about the OP. If you don't have a full LB1 by the time you reach the heart phase, isn't your party horribly overgeared and dpsing superfast, to the point where you shouldn't need LB1 on the heart phase?
Also, LB1 still charges as normall, it's only the LB2 and LB3 bars that charge slower when you have identical jobs on the roster.
I know Ifrit HM struggles are gonna make people 'lawl nub' but with the stun resistance building much faster now and the LB build nerf on unfortunately randomized DF parties, it's kinda hard now to do with the people gear range it's aimed for. =/ The LB nerf makes getting a LB3 that much harder and since the stun resistance builds faster, there are less successful stuns to jumpstart the gauge. You don't need LB3 sure, but when you've got people queuing in basic AF like was normally accepted, it's not a walk in the park.
Again like with the Titan heart phase LB1 supposedly being necessary, isn't your party overgeared if you can't make it to LB1 or LB2 on Ifrit by the point the nails show up? It's usually sufficient to LB1/2 one of the nails (or 2-3 of them if you have a caster dps in the party) and quickly dps them down in order. Plus, isn't the tank LB2 already sufficient to survive Ifrit's blast in a pinch?I know Ifrit HM struggles are gonna make people 'lawl nub' but with the stun resistance building much faster now and the LB build nerf on unfortunately randomized DF parties, it's kinda hard now to do with the people gear range it's aimed for. =/ The LB nerf makes getting a LB3 that much harder and since the stun resistance builds faster, there are less successful stuns to jumpstart the gauge.
