You can see how long it is by how long the stun debuff icon is present on the goblin's HP bar.

Yes, again it seem to be frozen it for an abnormally long time (because it still didn't move after the icon faded) which we concluded it was a dummy goblin.

I been trying the stunning with the mobs and it seems to have a longer effect in the video, but is still easily doable with Jarring strike > Blindside > WS

This would make the most sense. With autoattack, the "basic attacks" that replaced the stances initially could be rereplaced with the corresponding stances. Pretty sure that was Pummel and Light strike though. So light strike mode could be swifter attacks and pummel mode could be slower attacks that result in more TP gain.

MP cost to switch modes wouldn't be nearly as bad.

Ehh as long as I get my MNK with auto attack and some decent challenges in the game to keep me entertained I don't mind what happens. Just needs more content, more quests, more random "???"'s that you accidentally touch and a huge monster comes out unexpectedly and you battle it out til someone dies. My main point is I don't have much time to go on and play but when I do, all there is to do is freakin repeating/boring levequests where I fight the same thing over and over by pressing the same button every second with the occasional weapon skill.

Not only that but gear is bland and everyone looks so average. You can't tell what job someone is by looking at them like you could in FFXI, where the gear is unique for each job. The sooner this game becomes a little bit more like FFXI the better. There are some things in FFXI that need to continue in FFXIV and the sooner the devs realise what it takes to make a game that isn't boring the better.

Hell the only thing I'm enjoying in 14 more than I did in 11 is the graphics at the moment. No point in exploring the small world because everyone already has all the maps anyway, nothing cool and exciting to discover. Anyway I went off on a tangent.. Auto-Attack ftw!
