That's IT for the Mining Quests!? CEREAL!? - erm...spoils?-

I am sourly disappointed in the Miner quest line! It was much more enjoyable in 1.X!

Ever since doing the miner quests in 1.x, I've been asking about my favorite little lalafell twins to my FC (But we don't spoil one another, and I even refrained from checking websites) to find out if they make a return, and each miner quest was filled with hope then disappointment as they didn't show.

And then there was that last quest...

And they had so little screen time, and so little interaction with us that it was frustratingly sad. The new players of 2.X now have no idea what these little lalafells are really like! Throwing people out of bars, boobytrapping their sister's fiance (though accidentally getting her), trying to out-flex each other...these npc's are better than Hildibrand imho!

I know they're just minor npc's (<-no pun intended) But they were my fav's in 1.X. Isn't anyone else at least a little upset at their lackluster involvement? :/

*sigh* I guess the only thing I can do is sit tight and hope for more Miner Quests...

P.S. This doesn't make me love the game any less...I was just sad at the lack of lalafell twins T_T

I faced the same disappointment in the Weaver quest lines, which makes me want to find videos of the Hand/Land quests I missed! What a step down! And Weaver 2.0, disappointing as it was, happened to be one of the better crafting quest lines I did lol. I would've been totally happy with some copy-pasta of the old ones.

I just got lvl 50 Miner this week and I agree. I honestly don't even remember much of the story aside from foraging guild papers, old friendships/rivalries. I was hoping for something...more memorable. I like Botany's a bit more, but not by much.

Pretty much all the class/job quests are terrible.
And lack any semblance of subtlety. And make the player out to be a sodding moron.

Seriously. I know full well who the 'Ballad of the Vainglorious Fool' is about. I know what the 'pinnacle of alchemical research' leads to. I know who Jade Fox is. And I know who let the bloody Poacher go.
Stop giving obvious 'clues' and then acting like it's such a huge revelation when you finally outright say it.

And don't get me started on the fool that was all, "This is no place for a Carpenter!" despite the fact I'm also being a level 5Ø bard. >_>

Alchemy questline was the only decent one. I do sometimes wonder what happened to the comma kid from the 1.0 story.

They ripped the blacksmith/armorer guildmaster into the main story (He was amazing in 1.0) so he still has a place at least.

Botany was about as lame as 1.0 Botany...
