    I hope they're new WS, but they may just be advertisement for the coming 1.19 patch which he said would have attack variation. All in all I'd say this is a positive change. He looked much more lax and was able to handle all his abilities just fine. This will open up chatting during gameplay for better communication.

    Hi All,

    Yah it's good to get an update from Yoshida-san.

    The New Animations for Gladiator and Lancer look SWEET!

    THAT is some great animation that I hope we see more of for all classes, and then maybe start cleaning up some of the Spells (Ancient Magic :P).

    I think the Auto-Attack, Losing the Stamina Gauge and the sweet, clean Icons and Timers are really going to help Combat out a lot.

    I'm bummed 1.18 is delayed by 2 weeks, but, if they need the time, they need the time. All we can do is wait.

    Here's to hoping 1.18's content lives up to the build-up and excitement.

    hmm looking again at the Auto Attack video, I hope this won't be mandatory. I'm hoping that you can turn it On - if you want to use Auto Attack, and turn it off if you don't. I would like to turn it off.

    So it was just confirmed that Casters get melee only Auto Attack. Still feel like its good design, or more garbage down the chute?

    Dont push ranged classes into melee range.
    Dont leave any battle classes out of their appropriate auto attack.

    I don't think they're doing that per se, they're just not giving archers the same convenience. I don't think there's anything in these changes that would actually *encourage* a ranged attacker to close distance.

    Actually, it's reassuring. Ranged attackers are getting consistent treatment.
    I imagine they tried it your way first, and discovered, while testing the system, that it is very broken, so came up with melee autoattack as a fix.

    You havent answered the issue, that melee AA needs to not stop thier movement or its trash, yet if ranged AA doesnt stop thier movement its totally OP. As long as AA stops your movement its probably a bad fit for archer. I see you dont want to press your button a lot, but unbalancing the game so you dont have to press a button would be foolish.

    Why so many Emo's breaking out the straight razors about Archer and AA?
    It's awesome you have total control.
    Say you are fight a tough mob we all know a archer spamming arrows can take hate easy enough which is bad at times.
    With AA you can come in and do some low Dmg DoT+Gain tp (death over time of course) while hate is being established, then move back and loose shots and ws's. You control what dmg you do and when its called Strategy to me idk.
    It works very well, AA attack with bow makes no sense to me at all and i guess SE felt the same and I bet alot of others do as well.
    Like I said earlier though, If you dont like how the class works dont play that class, I dont care much for mage or tank classes, so..... I JUST DONT PLAY THEM, easy. OR you could lay in a corner in the fetal position and cry yourself to sleep.
    Either way thats the way Archer/Rng will be played after the update, I think its great.
