In 3 months, this game will have been out for a F*ing year. Better hurry up because Diablo 3 is looking crazy. Just look at how much thought Blizz put into the game before releasing it > http://us.blizzard.com/diablo3/world...runestones.xml
Because making the switch automatic when entering combat or being out of combat for a few seconds and removing the obnoxious key to push was technically way too complex, right?Characters will be made able to switch between passive and active modes while moving.
Riiight?

I have 8 crafts at 50. All I did was watch T.V. and spam standard for easy mode synths. Enjoy leveling those crafts in 1.19 and beyond everyone!

kind of excited...but disappointed in the fact that my weaver can't auto-rock throw
Healer strike is ridiculously foolish and accomplishes nothing
the auto attack looks painfully slow, i thought they said they wanted it to be faster than XI. well in that video it looks just as slow as XI, i was hoping for at least 5%-10% faster. (im bad at math)
im glad they are working on the look of the animations, i cant wait to see if they spruce up magic spells.
im also really dissapointed that they were unable to complete this in time.
15 abilities each? what is this... Kindergarten?A jack of all trades WHM... what is this 1989?

I have to admit, I thought we'd have to wait a little longer for 1.18, but this delay is longer than I expected. If "two more weeks" means two more weeks after mid June ends, then that puts us in early July. I'm not sure if that's what he meant or not.
In any event, the delay is disappointing, but understandable. While I'd like to try out the new content right away, I'd really rather they proceed carefully with such a major change to how the game plays. If this is the battle system we're going to be using from now until the end of XIV's lifecycle, the extra work they're putting in now will be worth it in the long run. That's not to say that I demand perfection out of the battle system the day 1.18 hits. Actually, I expect there to be quite a few problems that will be worked out over time. But a major gameplay change is not the kind of thing that you just want to push out the door.
At least, that's what my logical side says. The rest of me just wants the damn patch right now![]()

Just before you flatter yourself:
In case you don't know, raid = endgame. Happy ?I’m happy to say that work on one raid area is complete, with the second hot on its heels
I'm underwhelmed. There is no advancement at all if they only did 1 dungeon and auto-attack so far. I would find it really hard to believe that they all had to work on auto-attack. Just how low is the budget and understaffed are they for FFXIV. Does this game have any priority at all anymore at Squaresoft? And he points out one guy that's going to overworked from testing? Jeez
Edit:
No raid is just a group bigger then a party with special circumstances. For all we know we might be stuck with a raid dungeon for rank 30-40 range. In case you don't know, raid = endgame. Happy ?

Anyone else realize that TP seemed to regen? Maybe a testing mechanic or something in the new battle-fixes?
