Is just me or your character and the mob doesn't longer clips together while engaged in combat?
It seems like the goblin or your character always perform a step backwards after his attack if they are too close, to keep a clean space between you and the attacking mob.

Personally, I love this.

Definitely a test version, with still multiple bugs.
When the GLD performs rage of halone, and kills the Goblin, the log actually states that the Goblin parried the attack.
Similarly, the 3-hit final Lancer WS is noted as a one-hit attack in the log.
And the PUG walks right through the Goblin.

I just watched them in 720 fullscreen and they do look very pretty I liked the lancer one with the petal effect popping out. Seems they listened to people wanting things a bit more flashy at least.

If re-skin counts, yep. Looked cool at first glance, but I don't want that to be rank 50 armor, even.

its been on disc for awhile, but the chainmail seroes isnt the highest def anyhow so people would prolly ignore it, they also got monk using a crafting vest

Yep, if you watch the making of the realm discs, they have tons of different skins of plate armor that look so much cooler than what we have. You can even see examples of this armor as far back as the early 2010 pre-alpha game show videos.

I see the trolls already derailed the thread less than 2 hrs but i like how everyone is basing this 2 min video on how the whole patch is gonna be. Seems like a lot of people just completely miss the simple words content under development!

Ill say it again i don't want my patch to be shit i want it to be good so ill wait. Seems SE cant make any of you happy cause if they would have released this patch now and it sucked people would be crying again.

I think I can safely say most of our assumptions are based on SE's track record with FFXIV — so far.
