


Are yo kidding me? Spirit dart is insanely powerful lol I can hit almost more than most DD's and I spike up TP faster.
I am very glad its getting auto attack.

Ya I can see this as a nuisance and not any benefit. The stamina bar removal helps DoM, but really I think that's pretty universal.
I think lowering/removing the cooldown of Tier I spells (their auto-attack) would be far better.
Sucks? On thaumaturge, your spells are barely better; on top of that your guild marks get you an AoE version of your regular attack.
it's fine that it's close range only, e.g. solo, though.

Will you see if the development team will look into Auto-attack for any ability you select?
Aika Online is a quick example of how this works. No matter which ability you select it will auto-execute the same ability until you select a different ability (as long as you are eligible to keep using them). I would like to see something similar or more advanced than Aika.


Sounds like the system is nothing more than a copy & paste of FF11's auto attack system...
When a mage in a party gets too much hate, the monster attacks him in his close combat range - so the mage begins to auto-attack the monster then?





Don't know for sure till they actually release the patch with AA feature till we find out but you have a good point. Most likely melee/tank jobs will get the hate back after mage AA starts but still mage will probably start AA when it comes towards them for getting too much hate LOL then we got FFXI problem... damn mage spamming spells!, no no damn Tank don't know how to keep hate!! lol

More garbage in garbage out. Ranged classes should get ranged auto attack. Ignoring it makes no sense.


Why would it make sense in the first place? taking Archer for instance, most of its Burst DPS comes from buffed up 3 nocked multi-shot.
Imagine nocking up 1 arrow and then it auto fires, not letting you nock up the 2nd then buffing and releasing. It would kill a heavy part of Archer damage and without full buff multi-shots, Archer(which is typically one of the highest single target dps in 'some' games) would really have nothing going for it.
GLA has Tanking()
MRD has AOE
PUG has speed
LNC has a mix of AoE/Speed - (skewerII for example, and speed surge/invigorate)
these are just generic examples, ofc each class has other things to bring to the table.
As for mage, if auto attacking messed with casting speed. Then letting them have ranged AA would/could probably kill some people in fights lol.
