Dear Yoshida-San,

I fully understand that the curent business model of Final Fantasy XIV may be the most attractive fo your stock holders. Thus it may make sense to have turned the game into some kind of rail shooter, where customers grind the same content over and over again, until it gets invalidated with the next update and people move on to the next stage, grinding it over and over again.

But, with all due respect, if you wish to pursue this business model seriously, you should really consider

- deliver new content on schedule (instead of misguiding customer expectations),
- deliver new content when the old and easy content has been finished by a majority (like "Labyrinth of the Ancients"),
- do not release unfinished content, fix existing broken content (like CT requiring DF, existing DF issues, economy, etc.) and
- give the project manager the resources to accomplish this without redefining goals, dates or releasing unfinished contents (maybe send them to a SCRUM training).

If this is not possible within the boundaries of your business plan, then please deliver content which lasts at least until the next major update. It should also be in a finished state by then, or at least a traceable reason for it being unfinished communicated.

It was stated that they had two options when it came to the Crystal Tower. Either release it early, without the ability to form an alliance or delay it in order to impliment the alliance forming feature.

I for one am glad they gave us Crystal Tower, even without the alliance tools; it's just something else to look forward to.

Things don't work like that. I'm sure they weren't trying to release it on time and they actually just did it like this to annoy you. Sarcasm aside I wouldn't blame them if they did; this genres playerbase are the most entitled bunch of the whole gaming industry.

Threads like this make me laugh, I'm sure SE never thought about completing content on time, or trying to work the bugs out before release, sort of difficult when you have a small testing team that has to try to break it like the hundreds of thousands of people will try to do once it's out. These threads remind of sports interviews where people that have nothing to do with teams involved say crap like, "For them to win, they need to play both halves," "They need to start hitting more shots if they expect to score more points," or my favorite, "There's no way they can win, if the team doesn't show up to play." OP if you think your ideas are so revolutionary, maybe you should send your resume to Square, and see if they have room for your forward thinking.
