WAR Accessory Questions

SO I currently have DL accessories and I want to upgrade. I noticed the price on crafted accessories has come down a bit on my server and was gonna grab some. What are the best crafted accessories for WAR? Should I be doing something else as far as accessories are concerned?

I dont have regular enough play times to be doing coils regularly thus i dont go much into coil. I can certainly farm mytho and philo tomes and run CT. Should I be doing that instead of buying HQ crafted accessories?

HQ rose gold accessories are slightly better than HQ gryphonskin.
The latter is cheaper to obtain, and you only lose a bit of parry in comparison to HQ rosegold.

HQ gryphonskin are better then the HQ rose gold. HQ rose gold has 9 pary and you can meld 12 parry in to the gryphonskin and same HP. You also can add 4 determination. my gryphonskin goes 8 vit 6 parry 6 parry 4 determination 2 vit for my melds. then you get 9 str 9 dext 12 acc and 9 skill speed. All of hte dps accessories end up being better when melded for tanking then the tanking ones.

With Rosegold you don't need to worry about the vitality materia and can slot in skill speed which I forgot is better than Determination for a WAR tank since it means getting Inner beast up more quickly.
From what I have read, Rosegold is ever so slightly better, but at the cost of having to spend more than Gryphon skin.

GL getting a bunch of rank 4s in a 1 slot materia ring. with gryphon you only need 1 rank 4 materia 2 tops if you wanted to go rank 4 determination.

Odd, I thought I had mentioned that in a previous post of mine.
Must have deleted it, since I had said that Rosegold assumes you have the cash/resources to afford slotting it accordingly, while you can do the same with gryphonskin for a much cheaper amount.
Liek I said, rosegold is only SLIGHTLY better, but its expensive.

Gryphonskin?
Its cheap, and practically just as good.
Of course whenever SE chooses to release gear beyond ilvl90; it will probably render it all moot =(

get up to 472 then fill the rest with food. You could get away with less accuracy if you want but you will need to have better accuracy food.

I prefer HQ Gryphonskin accessories on my war which I am still melding, since your not doing coil there's no need for ilvl 90 VIT accessories and even that is debatable. However going for hero accessories with skill speed and two gryphon rings might be a good option if your ok accuracy wise for the content your doing. There is no real winner here, your accessory choices should match your play style and what your doing and your level of comfort with the healer your with. Not comfortable with the healer go more VIT, you trust the healer go full HQ DPS Gryphons.
