Back near launch, Titan HM was going for as much as a mil. On my server people do it as low as 50k a person now.

I queued df for Titan for like 2 weeks straight. Terrible, terrible, experience but I didn't resort to buying it. I understand it's frustrating since you can play flawlessly over and over again just to have under geared players or one guy mess up the entire fight. But I will never payyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy! Got it done by asking a good healer to help out.
@jomoru
That's an excellent point. Makes a lot of sense. Thumbs up.

I couldn't help it. It was effecting me irl man. The asking price just happened to be exactly what I was willing to pay in the first place. If it was higher, I would've passed and went back to leveling alts or something. Albeit, I would've much rather gotten the win for free....
.........stupid big fat ugly rockface meanie
Wow. Thank you so much kind sir. I certainly shall! May you always walk in the light of the Crystal. *bows*I do not agree whit buying encounters in game.
But there is a limit, u have done a real effort, making grp's and try lead/learn them. And u know ever aspect of the encounter from ur role.
So ignore those who try bash on ur skills, enjoy ur relic, and from what i read out of u, i think u could be a good player to have in both coil an EX Primal.
Have fun sir

I understand. Finding 8 capable players to do titan is just terrible.@jomoru

1) DPS Heart phase check - one dd dies or falls off - lost
2) Healer doesn't know phase 5 - lost
3) tank - easy role but if they eat bombs at the wrong time - lost
Like I said in another thread I hate how these end game fights rely so much on everyone playing their roles perfectly to win. The more skilled player should have more of an impact to overcome the lesser skilled players mistakes.

Dude, I felt your pain for a while. My Free Company was on Titan for a couple days with a core group and it took us a while.
I was close to wanting to pay, not for a carry but to complete. I'm glad I didn't. My Free Company pulled through and it went really well. Just takes perseverance and dedication :P Good luck though
I understand why some would want to pay for one after so many failed attempts, but honestly, I would never do it myself.
Not because it's wrong ethically or professionally(lol), but because I'd be losing the one main thing this game lacks, accomplishment.
I'd rather trek on through a hundred attempts and clear it legitimately, than have someone else do the work for me.
I won't say much more on the subject of buying a clear, but I can give you some advice on the fight. Take it from someone who was in your shoes for quite a while a couple of months ago.
Seeing as you're a WAR, this one task is best suited for you to do, as you don't have much else to do besides time your defensive moves for Mountain Buster.
Make a macro with the following lines:
/p ########### PLUMES NEXT <se.1> ###############
/wait 0.5
/p ########### PLUMES NEXT <se.1> ###############
/wait 0.5
/p ########### PLUMES NEXT <se.1> ###############
WotL is the #1 cause of death for Titan HM, usually.
Memorize when it happens and hit this macro 3-4sec BEFORE it does.
A good, quick tip on memorizing the pattern would be to watch for Landslide.
-Phase 1:
No WotL
-Phase 2 (After first jump):
WotL right at start.
Landslide > Tumult (hit macro here) > WotL
-Phase 3 (After second jump):
Landslide (hit macro here) > WotL, simple.
-Phase 4 (heart)
Like phase 3, Landslide (hit macro here) > WotL.
-Phase 5 (last phase after heart)
He alternates in two patterns.
Landslide (hit macro here) > Mountain Buster > WotL
Landslide > Mountain Buster > Tumult (hit macro here) > WotL
Sorry for the long write-up, but this certainly helped me get through Titan HM easily, everyone will appreciate your reminders before WotL.
Another suggestion before I finish this, don't be afraid to build a group centered around 3 healers. One or two of the healers can DPS during heart phase and you'll clear it fine enough. 3 healers > 2 for newer groups.

Not learning is only hindering your chances at later content. It also spoils content for other people as there isn't enough competent players to run stuff with.
I done Titan HM once, attempted Titan EX through DF and got raged at. I didn't know the fight then, i don't know the fight now.
I love Garuda EX though.

I don't understand what all the elitism is for. The guy's playing a tank.
Here's a flow chart for Titan HM as a tank:
phase 1: stand there, 1-2-3 1-2-3
phase 2: stand there, 1-2-3 1-2-3
phase 3: stand there between bombs, 1-2-3 1-2-3
heart phase: stand there, 1-2-3 1-2-3
afterheart: use a cooldown after every landslide... and stand there, 1-2-3 1-2-3
Wow, he must've learned so much after completing it.
No need for such ignorance here, it's hard to keep reading. The OP did not pay to be carried. He paid for competent people, like himself, to assist him in completing. He did the fight numerous times, was geared for it, and knew his role. All of this, wich he stated.
The difference between paying for a carry, and paying for assistance is worlds apart.
