Uh, have you actually read the dialogue npcs in the game actually say? That line about wenches is pretty much said verbatim by two drunks in Buscaron's Druthers in the South Shroud (even the waitress nearby is called 'Bar Wench') other stuff taking up space~

Either this is a troll thread, or you just haven't been paying attention very well.

For example, one guy above made a post and actually posted it and somehow thought that pointing out a single error in my grammar (of which I'm sure there are probably many) somehow makes my point less valid. I was told by a good friend that the reason the NPC was removed was due to the language used and people offended at his use of the word 'wench' in the context it was.

That seems a tad silly considering there are numerous NPCs that use salty language much stronger then "wench". And there actually being a npc called a wench. Was your friend just speculating or making a joke? This game had made me uncomfortable a number of times while questing. So far we have TWO (cause one wasn't enough trauma) NPCs who request you rub them down with oil while making moaning sounds...

I'm quite surprised to see what ARR got away with while still getting a "T" rating. I wonder how much more awesome the dialog would be if the game was rated "M".

They were serious but I think they may well have been mistaken. I still wanted to highlight my annoyance at the removal of my favourite NPC. You're right about the other chars though, one was talking about a maiden's garden that had been undiscovered and that he hoped he'd be the first.

I don't think they got rid of him because of any general disagreement with his existence and behavior. I think he was simply a causality of the Calamity.

And by the way, I knew what Pissed meant in terms of the pirate's physical state. :P
